Meet Our Team

All your dentists at Oakleigh House are chosen carefully with an ethos of providing a high standard of dental care with a relaxed and gentle approach. They provide all aspects of general dentistry including crowns, veneers and bridgework. They also offer a full range of cosmetic dental treatment such as white fillings as well as tooth whitening. They also provide implants with our visiting Implantologist.

They all enjoy attending regular post graduate courses keeping them up to date with the latest techniques. In addition, they all actively participate in our regular team meetings within the practice where the key is communication and the common aim is to constantly strive to improve and provide the very best for our patients.

DENTISTS

DR NAUSHEED BAIG BDS

GDC number: 65127

Nausheed qualified in 1989 from the Royal London Dental Hospital. He joined Oakleigh House the following year as a full time member of the practice and became Principal of the practice together with his wife in 1998. Nausheed continues to enjoy offering a wide variety of clinical dental care and has found it a huge privilege to take care of generations of patients within the area over the past three decades.

Nausheed is married to Shahana and they have three children. He has a keen interest in aviation and space history as well as following Manchester United Football Club.

DR SHAHANA BAIG BDS, PGCERT LTHE, FHEA

GDC number: 69658

Shahana graduated from Manchester Dental School in 1993. She worked in General Practice in West London before becoming joint Principal of Oakleigh House with her husband in 1998. Shahana enjoys all aspects of General Dentistry, especially Endodontics.

Shahana also holds a teaching qualification and in addition to her position at Oakleigh House she is a Clinical Lecturer at Queen Mary University of London Dental School. She has a passion for teaching and for encouraging the next generation of young dentists.

Shahana has three children and enjoys cycling, the theatre and baking.

DR KASTURI SATHANANTHAN BDS

GDC number: 277744

Kas qualified from Manchester Dental School in 2018 and completed her Vocational Training in the West Midlands. She is a full time member of the Oakleigh House Dental Team. Kas has a keen interest in all areas of dentistry but with special interests in Aesthetic Dentistry and treating nervous and young patients.

Her interests outside of work include keeping fit, dancing and travelling.

DR Rony Raju BDS

Rony Raju graduated from King’s College London in 2020 and is committed to providing patient-centred care of the highest standard. He believes in treating every patient with the same compassion and attention he would offer to a member of his own family. Known for his calm and reassuring manner, Rony takes the time to ensure patients feel relaxed, informed, and comfortable throughout their appointments.

Rony enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with a particular interest in cosmetic and restorative treatments. He uses modern techniques and high-quality materials to achieve natural, long-lasting results tailored to each individual. Dedicated to continual professional development, he has completed a postgraduate diploma in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry and is also a certified Invisalign provider.

Outside of dentistry, Rony enjoys travelling, weight training, and gaming in his spare time.

DR ZAHRA HAQUE BDS

Zahra qualified from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2022 and completed her Vocational Training in West London.

She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with particular interests in dentures and aesthetics. Zahra takes pride in helping children and nervous patients build confidence in the dental chair, always working at a pace that suits them.

Outside of work, Zahra enjoys cooking, reading and spending time with her family.

DR JAYESH PATEL B.D.S M-MedSci (Implantology)

Dr Jay Patel gained his Bachelor of Dentistry from Kings College of Medicine and Dentistry, London in 1986. He worked in general practice with an emphasis on cosmetic work, placing his first porcelain veneers and undertaking whitening procedures over twenty years ago.

During the nineties, Jay turned his attention to a new field in dentistry – dental implants. Having undertaken his training at the prestigious Eastman Academy in London, he later gained his Masters Degree in Dental Implantology at the Charles Clifford Dental Institute.

Jay is a member of the association of Dental Implantology, British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the ITI (International Team for Implantology) and continues to further his professional development, which has previously seen him travel to North America and Europe, ensuring his knowledge is passed on to patients and colleagues alike, assuring them that they are in good hands.

In 2011, Jay became one of the few dentists in the country to turn his hand to Cerec technology. Keen to provide his loyal patients with the latest treatments, using 3D computerised technology, Cerec allows patients to transform their smile within one day, making high quality crowns in house.
